Live, Love, Laugh

This was a mini box series I did which was sold as a set. The wooden shadow boxes were painted in acrylic, with each box having a different colour on the inside, outside and front edges. The mini felt pieces were wet felted and fulled really hard, in order to get them down to the size I needed to fit inside the boxes. One little bead was sewn into the valley of the heart.

They were mounted onto acid-free foam core, which was then glued to a little wood block in the bottom, so they look as if they are floating in place. The final piece was to stick on the little piece of paper with a single word typed on it.
