"POD"

This piece is my first in a Pod series. It is felted entirely by hand and made with Merino wools and two different 3D resist techniques. A challenging piece to make - each fin was partly felted individually, then attached and felted to the base. The red 'seeds/balls' were covered with a resist and the white wool was felted over top, then cut apart and fulled along with the other fins. There is a glass vase insert for this sculpture so that it can be used as a vase. $295.00
